DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TITLE AND PAGE TITLE

Difference between Title and Page Title is:

The Title field contains the name of the content block and becomes part of the url or path to the content while the Page Title is the title displayed in all capital letters at the top of each page.

Changing the title field breaks every link to the page and these links must be manually redirected, including any links in the navigation.  If there is a link in the site navigation notify stateweb@it.nv.gov to redirect the link as links do NOT automatically update when you change the name in the title field of a content block.

What is the Title Field?

The field entitled 'Title' is the content block name and becomes part of the url or path to the page. If you change this title you break every link to the page.

What is the Page Title Field?

The Page Title (second field in most smart forms) is the level 1 heading on the page and can be changed as often as you want without breaking any links. Every page must have a level 1 heading and a page title to meet accessibility requirements.
